If you look closely, you’ll see two butterflies entwined - one looking to the left, one looking to the right - but together. I watched one chase the other and then they landed ‘together’. After a few minutes of togetherness, they flew off completely entwined as one and landed a second time to spend more time ‘together’. (Read about First Aid for butterflies!)

Togetherness - by Betsy Seeton
The photo is what they looked like when I came upon them. (I still don’t have a macro lens, so it’s not a very sharp image, but I wanted to share the experience.) It’s my first time witnessing this. I find nature so fascinating. I love exploring the earth. So much goes on around us - so much life is being lived -yet we’re often so busy or preoccupied that we don’t take notice of the many little things that make life special. For me, this was like my very own nature show. What a treat!
