There is much beauty in the shape and texture of flowers. Sometimes the naturally awe inspiring colors sweep us away before we can soak up these other astounding features. I call it the color blind effect. By taking out the color every every now and then, it allows our focus to shift and perhaps we can take notice of something we didn't see before. I enjoy finding ways to gain a wider perspective. It's especially interesting when it happens with something you see all the time.
