- Live Fearlessly, Compassionately and Honestly

I'm stuck with this cold weather and snow for months to come, so I'm trying to put a positive spin on things by finding creative ways to photograph the white stuff.

I woke to sub zero temps outside and 52 degrees inside. After stoking up the wood stove I had the temps back up to a comfy 70 in little time, but the cold water pipe in my kitchen was frozen. It took heating the cabin up to over 80 degrees with the wood stove and focusing electric heaters directly toward the frozen pipes. About six hours later it finally thawed out. And so my winter begins...!

It's a beautiful blue sky day though. Temps rose to a balmy 20 degrees above zero. It's actually fine for walking around in. Not as fine as I would choose, but ... fine enough given no choice in the matter.
