I took the photos below over the past few days. It's easy to see how birds pick up all kinds of left over stuff along the shores. They're looking for food and don't always know the difference. The idea that a company like Coke-Cola is blocking a recycling program doesn't make sense. It's another case of profits over life and another notch in the belt for what is no less than a crime against humanity. It's outrageous that we live in a world like this where greed and the blind drive for money outweighs what is decent and right and good. If you care about this issue, scroll down to watch the TV ad that won't be aired. Coke blocked that too. More importantly, blog about this, Tweet and send out on social media sites like Facebook. Be the voice of the voiceless and don't buy another Coke until this company does the right thing.
Here's a link to an excellent documentary called The Midway Project. Well worth watching and passing along. You can also click on the image below to go to Chris Jordan's film.
LETTER FROM GREANPEACE THIS MORNING:
Have you seen our banned ad?
It's all over the news: our controversial TV ad exposing Coke’s opposition to an effective ‘Cash for Containers’ recycling scheme has been censored at the last minute from airing on Channel 9 tonight .
TV bosses deemed it “too offensive” to go on air, despite us clearing it with government classification bodies. But all signs point to Channel 9’s fear of a backlash from Coca-Cola, one of the world’s biggest advertisers.
Our ad may be confronting. It might shock some. But let’s be clear: the only thing “offensive” here is Coke’s outrageous efforts to stop this popular and proven recycling scheme from being implemented nationally.
By blocking us on TV, they've only given us more media attention for this important campaign -- and they can't stop us reaching more Australians by sending it to our friends and family online. Can you watch the ad now and share it with everyone?

I visited the Tiger Temple in Thailand & later found out it is under investigation for tiger trafficking and animal abuse. Read full story. In 2015 it was raided. More than 100 tigers and protected bird species in Wat Pa Luang Ta Bua, popularly known as the Tiger Temple in Kanchanaburi province were impounded by authorities following complaints that the temple was alleged to engage in illegal wildlife trading.
