I was out for a walk with my cat and both dogs last evening. I almost always, always, always have my camera on me, but lately with all the rain here in Colorado, I don't like heading out with it. So, reluctantly I left it behind. As soon as we hit the meadow, not far from my little cabin, there it was! A majestic bull moose! Cooper (my hound dog mix) is so good at seeing wildlife when I take him aside and point right at it. I've been teaching him words like cow, deer, and horse.
I didn't want him to spook the moose or run after it. So I whispered to him and he came bounding over. I showed him the moose and we just sat quietly and watched. He knows what I mean when I tell him not to chase or run. I couldn't resist heading back to my cabin for my camera. I knew where the moose was likely going and if I hurried, I could make it in time to get some pics. So here you go. It was low light, being evening, so not frame worthy, but still fun! I had to shoot through limbs behind a thick forest. After I found the bull moose, I found his lady too!

I visited the Tiger Temple in Thailand & later found out it is under investigation for tiger trafficking and animal abuse. Read full story. In 2015 it was raided. More than 100 tigers and protected bird species in Wat Pa Luang Ta Bua, popularly known as the Tiger Temple in Kanchanaburi province were impounded by authorities following complaints that the temple was alleged to engage in illegal wildlife trading.
